Packaging is the first thing a customer touches, so the material choice shapes perception before the scent does. Glass reads premium and protects volatile oils, but it is heavier and costlier to ship. Aluminum is light and travel-safe but limits the “gift” feel. Recycled paper and moulded pulp suit outer cartons and inserts where sustainability is the story.
Match the material to the product’s job: a daily diffuser can use lighter formats, while a hero candle earns a heavier vessel. Whatever you choose, keep the unboxing consistent — the texture and print quality matter more than the raw material alone.
